The Flanders Beer Marathon Festival (MB2F) returns to Bergues, in the North, on September 26 and 27, 2026 for its 3rd edition.
A sporting and festive event in the heart of French Flanders, the MB2F offers three races: Le Ballon – 13 km, Le Demi – half-marathon of 21.1 km and La Pinte – marathon of 42.2 km.
The routes cross Bergues and the Flemish countryside, including Esquelbecq, Wormhout, West-Cappel and numerous villages in Flanders. Refreshments, local beer tastings, entertainment, costumes and heritage discovery punctuate the routes.
The weekend also hosts the MB2F Beer Festival in Bergues, with breweries, concerts, entertainment and food.
The races will take place on Sunday, September 27, 2026: start of the half-marathon at 9 a.m. in Esquelbecq, the marathon at 10 a.m. in Bergues and the 13 km at 1 p.m. in Bergues.
